Today I sent in my application to renew my passport. How quickly 10 years go by! Once I get my passport back I'm applying for a 10 year visa for China before prices inevitably go up.

It's amazing to me that I went from thinking travel was something out of reach to having visited all the countries I used to dream about as a kid. Of course as a kid I had a much smaller idea of places in the world so there are still plenty of places on my current wish list. With the end of the year upon us what a perfect time to look retrospectively at the places I have been. Add to the fact that my memory has been acting up and I'm starting to forget where I've already been to, it's a great time to remind myself. I admit, even when compiling my list of places I've been to I kept forgetting places.

Starting with a trip to China and ending with my most recent trip to Mexico, it's been a wonderful 10 year of travel.
