We left Glasgow via Scottish Citylink bus and transferred to the Stena Line Ferry, then in Northern Ireland took the Ulsterbus. I know that sounds complicated, but it's very easy. This can all be booked through the Stena Line website, you can choose to Rail & Sail or Coach & Sail. We found transferring from coach to ferry to coach easy and straight forward.
When we reached Belfast we found out there was a bit of a Mexican food scene there, as a result we started really craving burrito. I posted photos of our burritos in the post about food, but I'll admit, they weren't terrible. Not as good as what I'm used to in California, but passable.
